Privacy policy
Updated: 6 November 2026
This policy explains what information we collect on bimteam.co.il and the company pages in it, why, where it is kept and what your rights are. We wrote it in plain language, the way we talk to clients.
Who is responsible
The controller of the site database is BIM TEAM Engineering and Consulting Ltd, 8 HaGoren St, Omer, Israel. The site serves all BIM TEAM group companies: BIM TEAM Engineering, BIM TEAM Projects, Chen Metals, EG TEAM and Ramot.
For any question about your information: office@bimteam.co.il or +972 73 366 9704.
What we collect
- An enquiry through a form on the site: name, email, phone, company, subject, project type and your message. With the enquiry we keep the browser type and the page you came from, to filter spam and to know which page led to the enquiry.
- Newsletter: your email address, language and the time you signed up or confirmed. When you confirm or decline the newsletter we also keep the IP address and browser at that moment, as proof of your choice.
- Cookies: the site language you chose, your choice in the cookie banner, and whether you closed the top notice. These are strictly necessary cookies only.
- Server logs: the hosting provider automatically records the IP address, time and requested page, for security and operation.
We do not collect sensitive information, do not ask for ID or payment details on the site, and do not profile visitors.
Why we use it
- To get back to you, answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal if you asked for one.
- To send the newsletter, only if you confirmed that you want it.
- To run and secure the site and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent information and do not use it for anyone else’s advertising.
Do you have to give it
There is no legal obligation to give us information. Without a name and a way to reach you we cannot reply, and without an email we cannot send the newsletter.
Who receives it
- The group company your enquiry concerns, so it can handle it.
- Service providers that run the site and systems for us: Vercel for hosting, Supabase for the database (servers in the EU) and Resend for email. They receive only what they need to provide the service and act on our instructions.
- A competent authority, where the law requires it.
Some service providers are outside Israel, in the European Union and the United States. Information is transferred to them under the Israeli privacy regulations on transfer of data abroad.
Cookies
The site uses strictly necessary cookies only: the site language (NEXT_LOCALE), your choice in the cookie banner (bt_consent), and whether you closed the top notice (bt_notice2, deleted when you close the browser).
No measurement, analytics or marketing tool runs on the site today. If we add one, it will only run after you allow it in the banner. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, and the site honours your browser’s Do Not Track request.
The site fonts are served from our own server, so browsing the site sends nothing to a third party.
Newsletter and direct mail
We send the newsletter only if you explicitly agreed to it. Every email has a one click unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us. An address that asked to be removed is kept on a block list only so that we never send to it again.
Other services and links
The site links to WhatsApp, social networks, model views on Trimble Connect and government registers. When you go there, that service’s privacy policy applies, not ours.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as they are needed for handling them and for our business relationship with you, and for any period the law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you ask to be removed, after which only the block list entry remains. Server logs are deleted by the hosting provider under its retention policy.
Security
Information travels over an encrypted connection and is stored in systems where access is limited to the staff who need it, and the site forms can only add information, not read it. No system is fully secure. If a security incident happens we will act as the law requires, including reporting to the Privacy Protection Authority where needed.
Your rights
- To review the information kept about you (section 13 of the Privacy Protection Law).
- To ask us to correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date, or to delete it (section 14).
- To ask not to receive direct mail and to be removed from our mailing list (section 17F).
Send requests to office@bimteam.co.il. We will identify you reasonably and answer within the time the law sets. If you get no answer you may contact the Privacy Protection Authority.
Minors
The site is meant for businesses and professionals and is not aimed at minors.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. A material change in how information is used will be posted on the site before it takes effect.
